Many people don't see anything in Syria beyond the damage, blood, and death. For Syrians, however, the country has always been the most beautiful place on earth. Despite the death, destruction and bloodshed, it remains to be the most beautiful place on earth. The regime has ruined countless lives, killed tens of thousands of people and destroyed many houses. However, Syrians continue to fight back with love, colors, and dreams.

Fadi Zaydan, a Syrian graphic designer, is one of many people fighting back in this manner. For example, he takes pictures depicting mass destruction in a Syrian town, and adds happy colors to them. He gives each space an identity by adding life to it. For example, he shows people walking around in their houses - their kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms - like nothing were happening.
