The Assad Library in Damascus

The Assad Library in Damascus was built in 1984 to hold Hafiz Al-Assad's name. The library is an example of how Hafiz and his family wanted to occupy everything and take ownership to every public building the people could use, so they remain always thankful to him and his family. This library's name is to be changed once Damascus is declared free.
