May thirty first, a day for solidarity with the Syrian Revolution

For the second year in a row, May 31st is announced as a day for solidarity with the Syrian people around the world. On May 31st, activists around the world asked people to take part in different activities to show support and solidarity with the Syrian people.

People from around 40 countries joined the campaign this year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Out of the 40 countries three stood out:  Palestine, Bahrain, and Iran.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

An Iranian facebook page created in solidarity with the Syrian revolution called for a hunger strike for three days to show support for the Syrian Revolution.

 

 

 

Fabiola Diaz Letelier, from Chile, shared the following message in solidarity with the Syrian people: "I join the hunger strike for three days in solidarity with the Syrian people, those who are not with us any more and those who struggle to survive everyday... for Syria. Viva la revolución."
