The sound of music is always loader.

While many musicians enjoy playing their music in studios, their garages, or sometimes even their basements, artists in Syria get sent to jail,  killed, or get to set down under shelling and sing.

Yousef Salem is a young Syrian artist who, like many other young artists all over the world, created a YouTube channel to record and upload his music onto. He sings in English and Arabic while he plays his guitar. Up to here everything seems very normal; however, the one song that changes the equation here is the one he sings while setting in the middle of the destruction after the Assad troops had shelled what seems to be his house.

Setting under what seems to have been a window, he sings for his mother while the airplane shelling is not too far away and could be clearly heard. The scene seems to be a perfect scene for a hallowed movie about some WW, the irony of the shelling and the guitar playing seem to be like mixing water with fire.

Young Yousef Salem plays guitar as if he is fighting the shelling with music. His voice gets loader as the shelling hits. He sings for Syria, the mother of all, while they are destroying Syria. He creates life while they create death.
