The Damascus University branch of the Union of Free Syrian Students and the coordination committees of Mazze, Baramka and Muhajirin organized a campaign for students to paste stickers of the revolutionary flag throughout the Syrian capital. The neighborhoods targeted in the campaign were: Al-Adawi, Abbasid, Baramka, Afif, Muhajirin, Mazze, Midan, Salihiya, Baghdad Street, Rukn al-Din and Birniya Street to assert the presence of nonviolent resistance in Damascus.
