Binnish's Student Union

The city of Binnish, Idlib was famous for the human banners formed by the people of Binnish during protests. But many Syrians are oblivious to the fact that these lovely human formations and protests were organized by the Student Union of Binnish. The Union was established by martyr Bassel Sallat who was killed with several friends while rescuing the wounded and lifting bodies from under the rubble in the hardest, heaviest day of shelling on the city. “Binnish’s Student Union” tells the story of these young people, their struggle, their hopes and dreams.

The film is produced by Kayani for audio-visual arts and the Street Foundation.
