"From my lap top I am running a revolution", No you are not!

#ChicagoGirl is a film that tells the story of a girl that lives in Chicago and plays a rule in the revolution through social media. In the trailer, Alaa Basatneh, the girl in the movie says that she is running the revolution from her lap top. This phrase hit many Syrians that found in what she says a disrespect to the martyrs and the people who scarified themselves, their families and everything they have, all of that to be free and not lead or ruled by anyone. Twitter and facebook went wild trying to tell the world that no one could ever claim to run this revolution. They said many things in both Arabic and English trying to tell the girl to STOP claiming to be a leader from the comfort of her house in Chicago.

"you disrespect the revolution and those who died for it when you say, 'from my laptop I run a revolution', dont run away, come face my debate"

"Just trying to be positive: I wish we could focus more on the ideas not the people."

"A girl claims to run the revolution from her facebook: wow, didnt know life was that easy. Now please our leader could you block Bashar Al-Assad and get rid of him if it is that easy to run a revolution from a lap top"?

"Did you not know that I am in the process of downloading two more revolutions in the middle east exclusive from Copenhagen, I am just waiting until the new year to finish downloading."

"to make it short: The children of Daráa (who were the beginer of the revoluion in Syria) are ashamed to claim what you claimed to be. The martyrs and those who died for the revolution would be ashamed too, the detainees and etc.. everyone would be ashamed to say what you said about running a revolution from your lap top."

"A young girl claims to run the revolution from her facebook! The media might be stupid and cant tell lies, however, did someone tell our new leader that most of the areas in Syria dont have access to the internet?"
