Inana Othman is a Syrian author and researcher working at the ZMO Centre for Studies in Berlin, as part of a team working on a research project entitled Memories of Everyday Life in Syria. She is completing her PhD dissertation about the collective memory of schools, and its link to place, both as perceived and as experienced in Homs in Syria.
